WHERE WILL WE SHOOT?
 

We will shoot in my cosy home-studio in Chiswick, West London. Details of the location and where to arrive will be sent to you in an information pack that you will receive upon booking.

 

WHAT TIME OF DAY DO YOU SHOOT?

Sessions tend to be held at 10:30AM or 1PM depending on availability. Please head to the booking section of my website to see what is available.

DO YOU ASK FOR A DEPOSIT?

Yes. I ask for a non-refundable £30 deposit to be paid upon booking your session in order to secure your slot. However, should you fall ill or have an audition or meeting, please let me know with as much notice as possible so that I can offer your slot to people wanting to shoot sooner. Don't worry, you will not lose your deposit as long as I have been given at least 24 hours notice. Otherwise, we can just book another time to suit you when you're ready. No-shows or super last-minute cancellations may be asked to pay 50% of the session fee. Please communicate if you no longer wish to attend your session.

 

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

Both preview photos and final edits will be sent to you digitally via a shared folder link, hosted by Dropbox.

 

Please download and store the photos to your computer and do back them up. I usually aim to keep your unedited preview photos and final edits on my system for at least a year, so if anything goes wrong, I can always send them again. You're welcome to come back for more edits at any time as long as they are still on my system!
 

 

DO YOU RETOUCH THE PHOTOS?

 

Yes, although I do try to keep this minimal where I can. Blemishes, acne, dark rings and eye-bags will be removed or reduced along with some changes to the exposure and colour tone settings.

 

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

 

I usually send your preview images within 48 hours following your shoot. Once you have picked your favourites, I usually aim to get your edits back to you in around 7 to 10 days after you select them. If you need shots edited in an emergency, we can talk about this at the time, just let me know.

CAN I SHAVE MY BEARD DURING THE SHOOT?

You can, no problem. Just bring all the tools with you including your shaving foam and a small towel to dry your face after a splash!

 

DO YOU DO SHARED SESSIONS?

Not usually, no. It's really important that I give you at least an hour to shoot. Quite often, a client's best work are captured towards the end of the shoot. We need the time to develop a good relationship and get the best out of your photos. Splitting this time would mean sacrificing on quality, which is what neither of us would like.

 

Sometimes people bring a friend, partner or mum with them. This is fine, although be aware if you're going to feel self conscious. I'll usually ask the other half to go and grab themselves a coffee, or at least wait elsewhere on location for the shoot to conclude, but you know what you can handle.
